Welcome to the all-new & improved Neat Let's Eat!
How nice of you to have clicked on my link from social media. I really appreciate it and I'm so glad you're here!
I've had a food blog for awhile now. It's been a serious work in progress for the past two years and I haven't been able to nail down something I love. I've purchased 3 different website domains including quirksterlovesfood & wizardinthekitchen. (I still own them so if you're interested in purchasing, holla' at your girl.) I built a website from scratch on WordPress and then proceeded to break that website last spring and haven't had the chutzpah to fix it. Life is hard, ya know? Needless to say...my website has been a little run-down and in need of sprucin' up. Well...here we are! A fully functioning website that I'm really proud of and feel good about.
You'll find I've decided to start blogging about more than just food. I have way too many hobbies and I just love creating regardless of what it is! I like to refer to myself as a Professional Hobby Hoarder. In the new and improved "Neat Let's Eat," I'll talk mostly about food, kitchen tips/tricks, and meal planning/prepping. I'd also really like to get into cooking videos. Here's a few of the other things I'm excited to blog about!
- In November 2017, we bought our first home. It's beautiful and wonderful and sometimes I give the walls or floors a hug just so the house knows how much I love it. I'll share our home renovation projects and how all that plays out for us under the "Home & Garden" section.
- Our house came with a wonderfully sized backyard so I'm starting my very first vegetable garden this spring and I'm literally filled to the brim with excitement to grow some food. Nature sure is magical, isn't it?!
- Crocheting makes me feel a lot better about the amount of television I watch (which is too much) so I'll sprinkle those projects in as well. You can find my crochet projects along with all my random DIY endeavors under the "DIY" section.
- Just like most other millennials, I love to travel and visit new places! You can check out our trips to St. Maarten & Montana (twice) last year under the "Travel" section.
Please take a look around and let me know what you think!
